The Reds have experienced significant changes over the past year, with the return of Michael Edwards to the club and the appointment of Richard Hughes as their new sporting director. These changes have brought fresh perspectives and new strategies to the team, leading to their recent success on the field.

Talks are in advanced stages as Liverpool push to tie down their key players who contracts are expected to expire at the end of the season. There are rumors that the players in question Virgil Van Dyke, Mohammed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold are requesting for improved wages before they would pen their various contracts.

The two appointed Arne Slot to replace JĂĽrgem Klopp who has since revitalised the team. Under the leadership of Slot, the team has seen great success and has continued to dominate the English Premier league and also the Champions League. He has not necessarily change his predecessor’s approach, rather he has inculcated a sense of calmness when in possession as compared to Klopp’s heavy metal football though there are still traits of Klopp’s counter pressing and the ability to turn defensive schemes into counterattacks. It is clear that the decision to appoint Arne Slot was a smart and well-calculated move by the team’s management.
